An East LA manufacturer is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager would be owning the full month-end close, journal entries, amortization schedules, fixed assets, prepaids, reconciliations, and AR. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Manager will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, be flexible, and show strong leadership capability. What do you need in this Accounting Manager role?

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GL and inventory accounting
- CPA is a plus (active CPA on the team)
- Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?

- Own key areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
- Prepare and maintain amortization schedules, rebate accounting, and other accruals
- Reconcile prepaids, fixed assets, and support AR deductions tracking and resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide support to internal stakeholders and be a resource for GAAP accounting questions
- Identify opportunities to streamline and reduce the close cycle
- Partner with the Controller on improving systems and internal controls

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
