About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Research and Advisory Services to join its academic institution. The successful candidate will be a strategic and forward-thinking leader with a Ph.D. in coastal or marine science or a related field, and a proven track record of scientific accomplishment. This role is pivotal in advancing the research mission of the institution and coordinating the advisory services program. This includes participating in institutional decision-making, representing the organization to federal partners, and leading efforts to expand multidisciplinary research teams. The position requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with diverse groups and manage sensitive issues with integrity and discretion. Applicants for the Associate Dean position at the company should have a strong background in the administration and governance of academic or scholarly programs, with a focus on research.
