Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will take over accounting, maintain accurate financial records and ensure the companys compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions into company bookkeeping softwares for multiple accounts
• Work with vendors to make and receive payments
• Send and receive invoices
• Support with employee onboarding and run payroll
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare trial balance
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete required tax forms
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field experience
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
