Business Development Executive – IT Staffing & Consulting

District Partners | Washington, DC (Remote/Hybrid Options Available)

District Partners is expanding—and we’re looking for a proven new business hunter to join our IT & Digital Transformation practice. This is an opportunity to help scale a modern search and consulting firm that’s already punching above its weight with retained search, project-based consulting, and fractional tech leadership solutions.

We’re not here to follow legacy models. We’re building something sharper, more strategic, and more human. And we want someone who’s excited to build alongside us.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Cultivating and closing net-new client relationships across the technology landscape—think CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and PE-backed operating teams.
• Driving revenue across direct hire/retained search, project consulting, and fractional/interim tech leadership solutions.
• Working hand-in-hand with our Managing Directors and recruiting team to bring in opportunities you can immediately monetize.
• Bringing fresh ideas to how we go to market—and being part of refining the playbook as we grow.

What We’re Looking For:

• You’ve built a book before—and you’ve got one ready to move now.
• Deep understanding of IT services, digital transformation, cloud, security, and enterprise hiring.
• Strong network of decision-makers (CIO/CTO/CISO/Heads of Eng/Infra/Data/Product).
• You’re a natural closer, not a passive order-taker. You drive conversations and consult with intent.
• Preferably 5+ years in tech staffing/business development with a consultative edge—we’re not looking for transactional chops here.

Compensation & Perks:

• Base + commission with aggressive, no-cap upside.
• When the time is right: a custom draw plan that outpaces industry standards—we believe in frontloading your ramp, not starving you through it.
• Access to a tight, experienced leadership team and real ownership in how the practice grows.
• Remote flexibility with presence in the DMV area preferred.
