Notre Dame Schools is located in Munson Township in Geauga County and currently serves 1,100 students from Lake, Geauga, and the eastern suburbs of Cuyahoga County. The school is located four miles from the intersection of Routes 322 and 306. This 75-acre campus is beautiful and scenic, and includes multiple schools, athletic fields, and garages.

Notre Dame Schools is seeking a dedicated and reliable evening-shift custodian (11am - 7:30pm) to join our team. This position is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The custodian will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring the general upkeep of our school buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform industrial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.


• Execute buffing and floor care tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.


• Conduct custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.


• Carry out porter duties, including the removal of trash and debris from designated areas.


• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.


• Follow established cleaning schedules while being flexible to accommodate special requests or events.

Experience:

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.


• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.


• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial for this position.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve cleanliness goals.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
