Position Overview: Event & Promotions AssistantAs an Event & Promotions Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in organizing and executing live promotional events for nonprofit campaigns. You’ll work directly with our events team to create meaningful community engagement and raise awareness for impactful causes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of community events and nonprofit promotional campaigns
Coordinate event logistics to ensure smooth, successful activations
Manage event materials , branded displays, and campaign inventory
Track attendee engagement and performance metrics for campaign improvement
Support live promotional marketing activities and client goals
Help onboard and mentor new team members as our department grows
Provide a friendly, professional experience to event attendees and supporters
Excellent communication and strong organizational skills
Outgoing, energetic personality with a genuine interest in event marketing and nonprofit outreach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, in-person settings
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
Comfortable interacting with diverse community groups and the public
Paid training and continuous support in nonprofit event marketing
