The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Academics: Teacher Development for Grades 5-8 Humanities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and nurturing talent for the coaching pipeline, outlining key experiences for prospective coaches, and determining the successful completion of milestones. This role involves close collaboration with school leaders and stakeholders to enhance instructional practices, improve student outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner with a strong background in relevant content areas, high confidence in helping students achieve, and a traditional leaning towards educational practices. They should be comfortable with a high-accountability environment, and have experience in developing teachers into coaching or related positions. Applicants for the Managing Director of Academics: Teacher Development position at the company should hold a Master's degree in education or a related field, with a preference for a Doctorate. A minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in education, including at least 5 years in a teacher development role, is required.
