Our client is in the midst of an excitingmerger and data center consolidation, and we’re looking for aSenior Network Engineerwho can jump in immediately and make an impact. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has deep experience acrossnetworking, cloud infrastructure, and systems administration. You’ll be working in a hybrid environment that’s transitioning fromCisco to Fortinet, with a strong emphasis onAzure and AWS networking. If you’ve built or supported cloud environments from the ground up and can troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure layers, we want to talk to you. Key Responsibilities Configure, support, and troubleshootBGP/OSPF,Cisco ASA/Firepower, andFortinetdevices (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiNAC) Support the transition from Cisco to Fortinet across acquired environments Troubleshoot and optimizeAzure and AWSnetworking and IAM configurations Provide support forNutanixor other hypervisor platforms Administer and troubleshootWindows ServerandActive Directory SupportSSO/IAMissues and integrations Monitor infrastructure usingSite24x7(experience with SolarWinds is a plus) UseJirafor ticketing and task tracking Assist withHVAC and UPS monitoringfor onsite data centers (not full-scale DCs) Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience Strong background inCisco and Fortinettechnologies Proven experience withcloud networkinginAzure and AWS Experience building or supporting cloud environments from a networking perspective Familiarity withNutanix,Windows sysadmin, andActive Directory Experience withIAM/SSO troubleshooting Comfortable working in amerger/integrationenvironment Bonus Skills Experience withSite24x7monitoring Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell) EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
