THIS IS A HYBRID In Person COUNSELOR POSITION FOR INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT. This is not a remote position.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.

Role Location: CALIFORNIA

Calculated Hourly Range for role Substance Abuse Counselors:

State- California - $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS

This is a PRN Hybrid Counselor position for Inpatient and Outpatient clients. Shifts are 8-hours, and are overtime eligible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNSELOR:
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
• Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
• Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for client.
• Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned client.
• Evaluate the needs of the client and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred
• Licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor, as required by California

CADC Licensure Required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Personal experience serving in military or has 1 or more years' experience working with veterans.
