What Youll Do: Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to DHH students through a secure virtual platform Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to each students unique needs Provide guidance to school staff on best practices for teaching DHH students Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations What Were Looking For: Valid Alabama Professional Educator License (PEL) with DHH endorsement Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related field Prior experience supporting DHH students in educational settings Comfortable using digital tools and video conferencing platforms Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Bonus Points For: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or cued speech Experience with assistive technologies used in DHH instruction Previous teletherapy or remote teaching experience Ready to Apply?
