Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 1. The role involves designing various types of scaffolds and ordering materials to maintain workflow. Responsibilities include performing all necessary documentation such as delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s, and scaffold inspection checklists. The Foreman 1 acts as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and is required to work with tools from time to time. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or approved equivalent experience, some trade school preferred but not required, a valid driver’s license, ability to work safely at considerable heights, and bilingual skills are a plus. The candidate must be able to supervise a crew or direct up to three Lead Carpenters under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor. Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding and understanding of scaffolding materials to ensure load limits are not exceeded is required. The role involves physical demands such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors.
