Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 1 to design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain workflow. Responsibilities include performing all necessary documentation such as delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s, and scaffold inspection checklists. The Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and is required to work with tools from time to time. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of experience as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or approved equivalent experience, swing stage experience preferred, some trade school preferred but not required, a valid driver’s license, ability to work safely at considerable heights, and bilingual skills are a plus. The role requires supervising a crew or directing up to three Lead Carpenters who each run a small crew to erect and dismantle scaffolding under supervision. Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding and understanding of scaffolding materials to ensure load limits are not exceeded is essential. Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
