Position Overview: Senior Associate, Investment Research

As a Senior Associate in Investment Research, you will play a vital role in conducting due diligence on investment managers and strategies. Your focus will be on evaluating various investment approaches for high-net-worth clients, ensuring each strategy aligns with individual client portfolios. You will actively engage in discussions with both internal teams and clients, bringing your collaborative spirit and exceptional communication skills to the forefront. Key Responsibilities:

Investment Research

Collaborate with the Investment Research team to identify, evaluate, and implement effective investment strategies tailored for our clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact within the Investment Research team for specific investment strategies.
Conduct thorough searches and initial due diligence on a diverse range of investment strategies.
Perform ongoing assessments of investment manager portfolios, businesses, and operations to ensure alignment with client needs.
Undertake ad-hoc investment research projects as required.
Work closely with the Client Advisory team to provide insights and recommend adjustments based on changes in client circumstances.
Client and Prospective Client Engagement

Actively participate in client and prospective client meetings, articulating our investment approach and educating them on complex strategies.
Provide clients with comprehensive analyses and insights into the current market environment.
Engage in business development activities, including networking events and meetings with prospective clients, representing our firm thoughtfully and professionally.
Collaborate with Client Advisory team members to creatively position our investment philosophy and wealth management services for both prospective and existing clients.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in investment or asset management.
Ability to independently source and analyze investment ideas, leveraging relationships to provide valuable insights.
A strong intellectual curiosity combined with analytical, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Solid understanding of investment management concepts, particularly in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and strategy selection.
Basic knowledge of business, legal, and accounting principles relevant to investment evaluation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and other essential software.
A proven track record of working collaboratively in a team environment, with experience managing and mentoring others preferred.

Additional Information: The base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions. The expected salary range for this role is typically between $95,000 and $115,000 per year at the start of employment; however, the final salary offered may fall outside this range depending on individual circumstances. Additionally, base salary is only part of the overall compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonuses, alternative incentive options, and company-sponsored benefits. This position is at-will, and the organization reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits based on performance and market factors.
