Join a fast-paced hospital pharmacy team in Montgomery, AL for a travel assignment offering 7on/7off shifts. This role is focused on operations and clinical support, managing pharmacy services independently and collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians and providers.
Schedule Options:
Nights: 9:30 PM 8:00 AM
Evenings: 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
(Both follow a MondaySunday, 7on/7off rotation)
Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead pharmacist during assigned shifts
Remote order verification coverage for affiliated facility overnight
Utilize EMR (Cerner), Omnicell, Sentri 7, and IVX for daily operations
Oversee sterile compounding with IVX visual checking system
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
Active Alabama Pharmacist License (must be in-hand prior to start)
Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently, and manage triage situations
NICU experience required
Familiarity with Cerner and sterile compounding processes preferred
Travel stipends available for qualifying candidates.
