Job Profile Summary the Nurse (RN) - Quality and Safety plays a critical role in ensuring that healthcare facilities and providers deliver high-quality patient care.

Their primary responsibility is to monitor the quality of healthcare services provided and support the implementation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Evaluates the quality of patient care, monitors compliance with current regulations, process improvements and implementation of clinical best practices.

• Reviews and analyzes patient complaints which may involve training staff on new or improved clinical practices
• Demonstrates leadership by coordinating peer review, quality improvement committees as well as delegating appropriately to care team members.
• Participates collaboratively in process improvement efforts across MarinHealth and community partners.
• Collects, analyzes and prepares data for appropriate audiences related to quality and safety
• Demonstrates professional accountability for nursing practice
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the position
• Perform all other duties as required or assigned
  
   

Qualifications:

• EPIC experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Education:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
• BSN and/or MSN in Nursing preferred

License & Certifications:

• Current valid California RN license
• BLS Certifications (American Heart Association) are required.
