About the Role:

Our two salon & spa locations service a combined 1,600 guests each month...all our stylists are over 80% booked and busy, with a waiting list. We have strong business building systems along with stylists that have been with us over 15 years as mentors to inspire you with a clear career path to earn, learn, and live a better life! Let's work together to create a custom schedule to optimize your personal and professional goals.

Training is provided to ensure you're ready for any guest or service that may sit in your chair. We want you to be confident in the services you're providing...we set the roadmap and you set the pace.

Responsibilities:

• arrive early and prepared: plan to make the most of your day!
• maintain a positive, energized, and confident demeanor
• demonstrate passion & curiosity for your craft by engaging in continuing education
• utilize social media for marketing, guest engagement & portfolio
• make genuine connections: always be authentic, respectful, compassionate & fully present
• make efforts to maintain 70-85% booked
• exceed your guest's expectations, inspiring them to return: 65-80% retention
• educate guests on appropriate products available for sale in the salon to replicate their look: 25-40% purchasing
• invite feedback from guests + mentors & have the ability to learn from mistakes
• cleaning & upkeep duties of salon

Educational Requirements:

• current or expected Michigan cosmetology license

Physical Requirements:

• walk, sit, bend, and squat
• stand for extended periods of time
• talk and hear
• lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs
• view details at a close or distant range

Expected hours:

• 39-40 hours per week

Expected income (full time):

• Training period 3-6 months, 35 hours per week: average of $437 per week
• Year 1-2 $57,000 per year average
• Year 3-5 $68,000 per year average
• Year 6-8 $75,000 per year average
• Year 9+ $96,000 per year average
